  7. This is v4.02.098 of the Stealth64 Video 2001 Series Windows 95 disk.

  11. Windows95 Installation Notes
  12. ------------------------------
  13. 1. When you first install the video card in the system and power on, Windows 
  14.    95 will install the S3 Trio32/64 PCI display drivers.  
  15.  
  16. 2. After this occurs Windows 95 will want to restart.  Select No.  
  17.  
  18. 3. Select "My Computer / Control Panel / Display / Settings". At this point, 
  19.    Windows 95 will want to run the Hardware Installation Wizard. 
  20.    Select "Cancel / Change Display Type / Change / Have Disk".

  22. 4. Insert the Stealth64 Video 2001 Windows 95 Display Driver 
  23.    diskette into floppy disk drive A and specify the path 
  24.    "A:\", then click "OK".

  26. 5. Select Device :
  27.    Select "Direct Draw Stealth 64 Video 2001 PCI v.4.02.097 (Diamond)".

  29. 6. Click "OK" then "Close" and follow Windows 95 instructions.

  32. Note: This driver configures the display adapter's refresh rate 
  33.       AUTOMATICALLY according to the capabilities of the monitor
  34.       to which it is attached and which has been properly configured
  35.       using MONITOR TYPE.

  48. Known Limitations
  49. -----------------
  50. DOS sessions will not function correctly while MPEG files are playing.
  51.  
  52. MPEG files will not play correctly at high refresh rates.  When an MPEG
  53. file is played, the driver will automatically switch to a 72Hz vertical
  54. refresh rate.  After exiting from the MPEG, the original refresh rate will
  55. be restored.  If a vertical refresh rate lower than 72Hz was originally
  56. selected, then the vertical refresh rate will not change during MPEG
  57. playback.

  59. Do not run the MVP 1100 software and the DTV1100 software at the same time.
  60. This will result in a system hang.
  61.  
  62. When installing DirectX applications, a dialog box may appear asking if
  63. you would like to install a certified DirectX driver.  You should select
  64. "No", so that the Stealth64 Video 2001 drivers will not be overwritten.
